Episode 3

PRO: Leto identifies a possible Hijacker suspect and pursues him through a portal! CON: She has absolutely no idea what's on the other side of that portal... Get ready to run with Leto in Episode 3.

A quarantined planet.

An all-engulfing city they that live there have come to call 'The Irons'--Irons that chain, irons that spike upwards and stab at the sky as if to puncture holes through which one might escape...

But few escape the city.

Few are rich enough.

The Irons has more than it's share of gang warfare, crime and murder. Leto is one of the few that choose to investigate such things in the desperate hope that she may one day earn enough money to buy herself freedom, and leave the city forever.

I don't get what a motion book is. Is it like a comic book that moves, or is more like paneled animation? Why would I pay for this?

Take your time and visit the Madefire group to read more about the whole thing. Then go to their website and read even more.
Then you`ll know why you should pay for artist`s, writer`s and composer`s hard work. Peace.

It's the worst thing ever that you have to pay for these!

Hmm..The worst thing is that people expect good things to be free for no reason.

actually the worst thing is when other people misunderstand the motives behind a comment and get a haughty about it. (er, not to be on the offensive side. Im probably the one taking this haughtily :)

just considering the website is free to users, and is meant for viewing art (with no charge), i thought maybe people wanted this stuff to be seen. Obviously what we're allowed to see is just a gimmick. the world is full of them, i can deal. I made the comment to show my interest in reading the whole thing, which i think is a compliment. I know it's all about hard work, but if you want money, i dont think this is the right place. other people put hard work into the things that they put on here for free. it's noting personal to the author or even you. I hate the "point for money" system and real money for digital badges sort of thing.

which still relates to these motion comic thingies. I do apologize for ranting. please dont let this spiral into a huge arguement.

Nothing to argue here about. Madefire advertises commercial product and demands small payment for it. Fair biz.
Regarding people showcasing free stuff: sure thing, some of them do.I do it myself as well. Yet there are not many people posting high-quality comics on DA. Not to say, high-quality interactive visual content, like motion books.
